Barcelona Discount Cards
Whether you live in Barcelona or are just visiting for a few days, by purchasing a discount card you can save money on transport and by using the free entries and discounts the cards open up throughout the city.
Barcelona Card with Guidebook
The official Barcelona Card gives free public transport in the city including to and from the airport, free admission to many tourist attractions and many discounts. You can select 2, 3, 4 or 5 consecutive day passes, and the card comes with a guidebook and city map included.
The benefit of this card is that you can buy it online and collect it from the Airport Tourist Information Desk and take advantage of free travel from the airport into the city.
The price starts at €27.50 for a two day pass for one person.
Main discounts and benefits
 The transport included in the Barcelona Card is all public transport day and night: metro, bus, tram, local trains and Renfe trains in zone 1. Note: the tourist tour buses are not included.
- Free entry to 16 of Barcelona's top attractions.
- Free activities, such as Las Golondrinas boat tour.
- Discounts at museums, attractions, shops, restaurants, entertainment venues, private transport methods and walking tours of the city.
- The guidebook and map included are in English, Spanish and Catalan.
Airport travel included
The card is only valid from Barcelona's Airport Terminal 2 (old terminal), but there is a bus that travels regularly between the terminals.
How to purchase the Barcelona Card
You can buy the Barcelona Card online with Viator. Simply select the dates you want the card to be valid for and the number of travellers and pay online. You will receive an email confirmation of your booking which includes a link to print your voucher. Present this voucher at one of Barcelona's tourist information centres and you will be given your Barcelona card.
