Connect Club Card for BCN
 Whether you live in Barcelona or are just visiting for a few days, by purchasing the Connect Club Card you can save money using the discounts this card opens up throughout the city; from restaurants to museums, and including such useful things as moped and mobile phone hire.
This Barcelona discount card costs €12 and is valid for the whole year (January to December). You can order the card online here, or you can apply in person at one of the many locations which offer it for sale, such as Sol i Lluna in Calle de n'Arai (Plaza George Orwell) or the Speak Easy language School, Ronda Universitat 7.
When you purchase the card you are also given a map of Barcelona showing all the locations that offer discounts, with the names of each business, their address and phone number, and the discount offered.
Discounts for Barcelona
Many of the locations that offer discounts also offer the card for sale. Some of the easiest locations to purchase the Connect Club Card are: Travel Bar, Calle Boqueria 27; Belchica Belgian Bar, Calle Villarroel 60; and Kennedy's Irish Pub, Moll de Mestral 26-27-28.
As a tourist or short term visitor to Barcelona the Connect Club Card is a good investment for the discounts at museums, the casino, the Orsom Catamaran that makes regular tours of the port, an airport taxi trip, and the aquarium. There are also the many clubs, bars and restaurants that either offer a discount or a free bottle of wine or Cava with a meal.
Barcelona residents can also benefit from regular savings: the Casablanca cinemas offer a discount on any day, many of the Chiringuitos or beach bars offer 10%, 15% and sometimes 20% discounts, Optica Sisquella, Calle Santa Anna 22 (off Portal de l'Angel) offers 30% discount on prescription glasses, Mail Boxes etc give 10% discount on all shipping, delivery and colour printing services – that's naming just a few of the many offers available – and of course we use the clubs, bars and restaurants too.

Barcelona is fast becoming one of the most expensive cities, so any discounts are well worth having! I have a Connect Club Card myself and believe it's well worth the small investment of €12 for the year.
